Government-run agencies, such as the FDA and the National Institutes of Health (NIH), are beginning to recognize the potential of integrating technology into the national health care system. In the case of ingestible technology, one pro is that the release of disease-fighting agents can be more closely monitored and controlled, lessening the risk of potential side effects.
